CD reviews to come

Outcast by Michelle Paver is the fourth in her series, Chronicles of Ancient Darkness (she has written five books thus far). Starting in 6000 BC with Wolf Brother, these mysterious books are something you either love or hate. But like Just William books or rather any books read by Martin Jarvis, if the reader is good, I am game. Ian McKellan is the reader of Outcast. I am going to take it with me for a seven hour and thirty minute drive somewhere this summer, and I will tell you upon my return.
Another Roman mystery by Caroline Lawrence is out on audio CD, The Scribes From Alexandria read by Nigel Anthony. A blast from the past, Dan Dare: Pilot of the Future is on audio CD for the first time with Voyage to Venus - Part 1. From the seminal British comic book, the Eagle, written in the 1950's, this comic comes to life with sound effects and a four person cast of voices.
