Congratulations to President Elect Obama!

I was thrilled to wake up this morning and see the Guardian's headlines. Barack Obama had won.
I decided to go to the source of news NPR the radio station I would have been listening to if I lived in the
States. I had already had my fill from the BBC and NPR.com filled me in on the rest. While I was visiting the site, I went to their store and found some lovely looking children's stories on CD. I was particularly attracted to Radio Diaries, a CD of stories for teenagers by teenagers. One story is a coming out tale, another of courage and adventure. The stories have been whittled down to between 15 and 30 minutes segments. I have not heard them but I am going to be putting them on my holiday present list. In NPR I trust.
