Shaun Tan

I just wanted to put Shaun Tan on your radar. He is the most amazing illustrator. His book  (you can't actually look inside on my site) The Arrival has no words but tells a story of an immigrant. I can't imagine how many hours it took him to draw his sepia tale but it simply astounds me. He has just come out with a book of short stories Tales From Outer Suburbia that is really worth looking at. He is Australian. My friend Margot saw clues that he was from Perth and she is from Perth. Australia-ophiles can see if they can figure it out.
